DriveImage XML is an easy to use and reliable program for imaging and backing up partitions and logical drives.
The program allows you to:
Backup logicaldrives and partitions to image files.
Browse these images, view and extract files.
Restore these images to the same or a different drive.
Copy directlyfrom drive to drive.
Schedule automatic backups with your Task Scheduler.
Image creation uses Microsoft’s Volume Shadow Services (VSS), allowing you tocreate safe "hot images" even from drives currently in use.

Many times you see a beautiful scene and of course you snap a picture! The result is often far from being the magical scene you carry in your head. Our eyes are veryadaptive and they are also more sensitive to intensity than color. It is estimated that our eye can see over a dynamic range of nearly 24 fstops while a digitalcamera can capture a dynamic range around 6 to 9 fstops. The High Dynamic Range Imaging is a set of techniques that has been developed nearly 20 years ago to overcomethe limitations of electronic devices by combining multiple exposures into one great looking image.
A HDR photography can be created by taking few photos withdifferent exposure, then combining them in the software into a high dynamic file. The last thing is to tonemap the HDR image so we can see it in our screen, print it,post it on the web and enjoy. We created our software to be very enjoyable, fast and straight forward. No fiddling with incomprehensible parameters. And as it iscommon for Mediachance products we added many cool new inventions that you may not have seen yet in any other package.

SnapShot is disk imaging software that enables the user to back up, restore and view backed up hard disk data, easily and safely.
Using WindowsNT driver technology, Snapshot brings two newfeatures to disk imaging:
1. Snapshot Backup create disk images while Windows is running
This allows the user to work in his usual environment when backing up his data.
Any device suitable forfile storage can be used for the image destination, like your local drive, a network drive or any removable drive
And most important the image will be an industrial quality image, even thoughWinNT constantly writes to the disk. The user may continue to work normally, while a backup operation is in progress; the image will still be valid and consistent.
This enables one of the mostimportant things in backup business: backup often
It is even possible to make an image backup for servers, that must be online 24 hours a day.
Snapshot Backup Main use
Snapshot Backup is aimed atthe backup/disaster recovery market. There is little use for on the fly disk image creation, if you want to deploy hundreds or thousands of workstations. We think however, that the possibility todo on the fly backup is very important for the end user to regularly protect his data. At least, this was our reason to create Snapshot. No need to shut down and boot from floppy, no need tocreate network disks, and no need to wait half an hour for the backup process we think that’s nice.
2. Snapshot View Explore saved disk images the friendly way
The image file is presented to theuser as a virtual drive. This virtual drive can be used like any other drive, using any Windows program, be it Explorer, Norton Commander, or your favourite MP3 Player.
Snapshot View Mainuse
Snapshot View is a very easy and powerful method to explore disk images. This technique could be easily adapted to disk images created by other disk imaging programs.
